Frequently Asked Questions

What does LetzGo's Belfast Titanic Museum and Distillery tour include?

LetzGo’s 3.5-hour Belfast tour combines skip-the-line entry to the Titanic Belfast Discovery Museum — the world’s largest Titanic visitor experience — with a guided tour of the original Titanic shipyard and Thompson Dock (where the ship was built and launched in 1911) and a visit to the Titanic Distillery, housed in the original Pumphouse adjacent to the dock. At the distillery, guests receive a guided tour of approximately 60 minutes and a sensory tasting of Irish spirits, connecting the story of the Titanic to the revival of Belfast’s craft distilling tradition.

What is the Titanic Belfast Museum, and why is it considered the world's largest Titanic experience?

Titanic Belfast is a nine-gallery museum occupying a purpose-built building on the exact site of the Harland and Wolff shipyard where the RMS Titanic was designed and built. The building’s distinctive four-prow design represents the bows of the ship, and the galleries cover the full story from Belfast’s industrial shipbuilding heritage through the Titanic’s construction, launch, voyage, sinking and legacy. The inclusion of the original slipways, Thompson Dock and SS Nomadic — the last remaining White Star Line vessel — makes this the most comprehensive Titanic heritage complex in the world.

What is the Titanic Distillery, and what does the tasting at LetzGo's Belfast tour include?

The Titanic Distillery is housed in the original Pumphouse of the Thompson Graving Dock — the Victorian pump house that drained the dock to allow work on the Titanic’s hull. It is one of the most atmospheric distillery locations in Ireland, combining Victorian industrial heritage with the production of craft Irish spirits. LetzGo’s tour includes a 60-minute guided distillery tour and a sensory tasting experience, connecting the story of the Titanic’s construction to the industrial history of Belfast’s Titanic Quarter in a single coherent visit.

What is the cancellation and rescheduling policy?

We offer free cancellation and free rescheduling on all bookings made more than 24 hours before your scheduled tour departure time. If your plans change, simply contact us as early as possible and we will rebook you onto another available date at no additional charge.

Cancellations or changes requested less than 24 hours before departure are not possible, and the booking will be treated as non-refundable. This policy exists because our tours operate with a limited number of guests, and last-minute cancellations prevent us from offering the spot to other travellers.

We strongly recommend booking in advance to secure your preferred date, particularly during peak travel seasons (June to September) when availability fills quickly. If you are booking for a group, please contact us directly before completing your booking so we can advise on availability and any group-specific arrangements.

Is this tour accessible for guests with reduced mobility or physical limitations?

We want to be transparent about this so that every guest can make an informed decision before booking. This tour is not currently recommended for guests using wheelchairs, motorised scooters or other mobility assistance devices. The tour route includes a significant amount of walking and covers surfaces that can be challenging, including cobblestones, hills, inclines, declines and stairs across both venues.

Strollers and baby carriages cannot be accommodated on this tour.

We also ask that all participants be in good general health. If you have a medical condition or are not accustomed to regular exercise, we recommend consulting your doctor before booking.

If you have specific mobility concerns and are unsure whether this tour is right for you, please contact us before booking — we will always advise honestly based on your situation, and we can explore whether alternative tour options or arrangements may be more suitable.
